The Saints' And Angel's Song

John Fischer

I have seen Saint Ben listed as a book for juveniles, and while I heartily disagree with that, the moniker applies quite well to this book. The story and situations are more contrived and the characters less interesting. Fischer seems to remind the reader of the events of the first book every few pages so we don't forget the enigmatic character of Ben that made the first book interesting. No or very little Ben here, so very little that was intriguing.

Two Gristles.
